What this site is

Dentist360 is an independent online directory and information service for dental practices in Australia. We publish general information about dental treatments, costs and how to choose a practice, and we intend to publish a directory of verified dental practices.

We are not a dental practice, we do not provide dental or medical services, and we do not employ or supervise any dental practitioner.

Information is general only

Everything published on this site is general information. It is not clinical advice, medical advice, dental advice or financial advice, and it does not take account of your individual circumstances.

Nothing on this site creates a practitioner and patient relationship. Always consult a registered dental practitioner about your own situation, and never delay seeking or disregard professional advice because of something you read here.

Costs and figures

Any cost, fee or rebate figure on this site is indicative only. Actual fees vary by practice, location, complexity and your individual circumstances. Rebates depend on your health fund, your level of cover and your remaining annual limits.

Always confirm costs directly with the practice and your health fund before proceeding with treatment. We are not responsible for any difference between a figure published here and what you are actually charged.

Accuracy

We take reasonable care to publish accurate, current information and we review our guides regularly. Even so, we do not warrant that everything on the site is accurate, complete or up to date at all times, and clinical guidance, regulations and prices change.

If you believe something is wrong, tell us and we will check it.

Directory listings

Where the site lists a dental practice, that listing is provided for information. A listing is not a recommendation, an endorsement, or a warranty about the quality of any practitioner or treatment.

We verify practice details before publication using reasonable checks, but we do not audit clinical standards, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any practice. Your dealings with a practice are between you and that practice.

If you are a dental practice

• You may register a practice only if you are authorised to act for it.
• Information you provide must be accurate, current and not misleading, and must comply with the National Law and AHPRA advertising requirements.
• You must not submit testimonials, claims of superiority, or content that offers an inducement, as those are restricted for regulated health services.
• We may decline, edit or remove a listing at our discretion, including if we cannot verify it or if it breaches these terms.
• You can request removal of your listing at any time.

Acceptable use

When using this site you must not:

• Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the site.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems.
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through our forms.
• Use the site in a way that interferes with its operation or with other users.
• Republish substantial portions of our content without permission.

Intellectual property

The content on this site, including text, design, graphics and the Dentist360 name and logo, is owned by us or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may read, print and share our guides for personal, non commercial use, provided you do not alter them and you credit the source. Any other use, including commercial reproduction or republication, requires our written permission.

Third party links

The site links to other websites, including dental practices and government health services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. A link is not an endorsement.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published on it, including indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the relevant information.

You use this site at your own risk. It is provided on an as is basis and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free.

Changes to the site and these terms

We are building this service and it will change. We may add, alter or remove features, content or listings at any time, and we may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
